Step Bottom Lightwind Wingfoil, Wing Race, Sup

Introducing the all-new Ginxu Super K Carbon, the pinnacle of high-performance freeride, surf, and race wing foil boards. Crafted with a long and narrow outline paired with a rounded hull, it delivers unparalleled speed and early take-offs. The patented Ginxu Step Bottom ensures a direct connection to the foil, reducing drag during take-offs. Its exceptional performance in light winds is truly remarkable, while its narrow design maintains control in windy conditions, particularly suited for smaller foils rather than large span downwind foils. With its extended length and rounded bottom shape, high-speed touch downs are effortless, providing a forgiving ride. Includes three foot straps for added stability.

Available in volumes of 60, 70, 80, 92, and 104 liters, the Ginxu Super K Carbon features Revolutionary Seamless Form KT Technology, offering an ultra-faithful representation of the original shape with greater precision than conventional CNC or mold processes. Its Carbon Monocoque construction connects the deck carbon stance area with the bottom carbon foil track area via vertical struts, ensuring ultimate structural cohesion. The full S-Glass Hull delivers rapid response, lively flex, and supreme durability.

Equipped with two 13” US track boxes, the Ginxu Super K Carbon is soon to be paired with genuine KT foils developed by Kane de Wilde (@kdmaui) and Jason Diffin (@jasondiffin). Enhanced with all-new MFC® footstraps, including an Adjustable V-Strap on select models, and KT Surfing® Single Density Traction Pads, segmented and slotted for weight-saving. Available in Metallic Silver and Neon Orange Tech-Reveal KT finish, featuring inverted artwork and charcoal pads.

Wakestyle Product Review: KT Ginxu Super K

The KT Ginxu Super K is an impressive addition to the wingfoiling market, available in various sizes (60, 70, 80, 92, and 104 liters) to cater to different rider needs. I had the opportunity to test the 80-liter model, which is 21 inches wide and 6.1 feet long.

Key Features and Performance

  • Wide Design for Stability: Unlike some brands that offer narrow boards with hard bevels for stability, KT opted for a slightly wider design. This enhances the board's glide, thanks to its efficient displacement hull.

  • Effortless Glide: As soon as you catch the wind, the board glides effortlessly, resembling a knife cutting through butter. This aspect really impressed me.

  • Lightweight Feel: Although not the lightest board on the market, the KT Ginxu Super K feels well-balanced and light underfoot. The foil box is sufficiently long, accommodating Armstrong and other soft foils without issues.

  • Versatile Insert Placement: The board includes inserts, allowing riders to use it with or without straps. This versatility is a significant plus.

  • Small Grab Handle: One downside is the small grab handle, which can cause hand cramps if you need to carry the board for long distances. It's adequate for short stretches but not ideal for extended carrying.

  • Excellent Build Quality: As expected from KT, the build quality is top-notch, delivering premium products consistently.

Recommendations

  • Rider Weight and Height Consideration: If you are a rider under 90 kg, you might prefer a narrower board. However, for heavier or taller riders (especially those around 190 cm or taller), a longer and wider board is advisable to match body proportions effectively. A taller rider (195 cm) should not ride the same length board as someone who is 180 cm.

  • Ideal for Taller Riders: This board is particularly recommended for taller riders due to its proportionate design.

The KT Ginxu Super K is set to become a standout performer this summer. Pre-orders are open, with retail availability starting from July 9. If you have questions or want to demo the board, feel free to contact us, visit the store, or send a message. See you on the water!
